A quick review about around Turner Prize 23 in Eastbourne. The exhibition of the winner Jesse Darling and the three finalists and Barbara Walker, Rory Pilgrim and Ghislaine Leung is continuing until April 2024, Towner Eastbourne. Darling’s work is interdisciplinary using materials in sculpture, video, installation, drawing, sound, performance and more.
Eastbourne alive’s format continues to animate spaces across the town with public art and interventions by Helen Cammock, Michael Rakowitz, Jason Bruges, Eve De Haan and Nathan Coley until April 2024. Furthermore, walking tours will also take place on the same three weekends on Saturday 10 Feb, Saturday 17 Feb and Saturday 24 Feb setting out from Eastbourne Station at 10.00am. The tour will visit Eastbourne ALIVE public art works, The Big Conversation at The Beacon and Grace Lau’s pop-up Portraits in a Chinese Studio coinciding with the Lunar New Year 2024 celebrations. Concluding, artist’s residency with artworks and events will animate the city.
