Chanel Backstage in Shenzhen

by Alain Chivilò

How is the Backstage of a fashion show like? Convulsed? Turbulent? Boring with waiting times? Full of people around? Calm and Quiet? Necklines that suddenly open up during the catwalk? Is everything already decided, planned and prepared except for the necessary adjustments?

Everything has been planned for months and in time with a casting attentive to the combinations between models, international agencies that represent them and clothes.

Professional models are almost always used to everything. With a cell phone in hand and few small conversations, they are at the complete disposal of hairdressers and make-up artists but above all, of a staff and creative director who prepares clothes, jewelery and accessories. Once ready with smiles, further shots to be published or not.

Every now and then the Fashion Houses grant and disclose to the professionals in synergy, some photographs or some almost complete sequences of the mysterious behind the scenes.

In this case, Maison Chanel highlighted close-ups of models directly selected with detailed clothes from its famous fashion house in charge.
