Dior by LVMH walked like an ancient Egyptian: Men’s Fall Winter 2023 collection by the designer Kim Jones for Christian Dior Couture. At the Pyramids of Giza a celebration for 75 years in fashion. “It’s surreal” said Jones and “This show will be watched by more than 100 millions people across the globe. That’s the real objective” said the CEO Pietro Beccari.

With the Pyramids looking, special lighting for the Giza Plateau in an endless catwalk for the models.

The models looked like contemporary tourists in futuristic and sophisticated clothes. A metaphisical atmosphere for knits in fine cashmere and shiny wools draped into capes or taolored to boxy jackets. Futhermore, sci-fi helmets, lunar boots and sometimes a trend also for men to veil their faces in fine fabrics as well. Designer Kim Jones was inspired by Egypt’s culture and astrology, putting togheter the reality with the science fiction. In the end, for men the collection is glamour, huge, elegant and spatial.

The clothes were an ocean of neutral colors but as the same time in unneutral to. Whites, stone, sand but not only have been decoupaged with tulle scarves and a sort of sandy layers. Also for men signed by Kim Jones, as already planned for women by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Dior Maison has choosen an historical location, full of vibes, to present a fashion collection for everyone.
