A collection is born much sooner than you think. Based on the project and the clothes, weaves are created that are useful for defining the preparation of the clothes. The team is made up of several professionals who work around the creation of the clothes. Often the connections are dense if skilled workers and craftsmanship from other nations are involved.
The Dior Cruise 2024 Collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri lives and is born inextricably in Mexico.
The Metamorphosis video documents a real story, far from the concept of a dream, which highlights the various phases of the creative as well as commercial and financial project. From the region of Oaxaca, with the meeting of Remigio Mestas, professional weaver supervising the creation of four huipils, to San Cristóbal de Las Casas, where Pedro Meza director of the Sna Jolobil association created a reinvented gabán to evoke the contours of emblematic Bar jacket, in San Lucas Redención, Sans Pablo Tijaltepec, Tlaxiaco and Oaxaca, which Narcy Areli Morales supervises the production of an embroidery method known as pepenado fruncido. To conclude, Yolcentle hosts a workshop co-founded by Hilan Cruz Cruz for a series of embroidered shirts and dresses, without forgetting the beginning dedicated to Circe Henestrosa and the creative queen Maria Grazia Chiuri.
The documentary, already premiered, is available on the Dior website and on the various channels used by the Maison.
