2021, 2022 and 2023. Monza, in the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix, third consecutive world title won by driver Max Emilian Verstappen at the wheel of Red Bull Racing led by Christian Horner.

Starting with pole position and third place in Saturday’s qualifying, the ingredients for an Italian Scuderia victory in front of more than 300.000 spectators had flared up with force. Smiles, greetings, politeness, winks, very important people invited to attend the competition, historic Managers and Drivers in the pits, just to give an example.

The dominatrix of the season was Verstappen’s Red Bull. It is also true that Ferrari did the best qualifying of the year right at home, with great strength and presence.

The race, unfortunately, is something else, especially for those who have been following the F1 championship for decades with drivers such as Lauda, Scheckter, Jones, Senna, Prost, Berger, Mario Andretti, Mansell, Piquet, Keke and Nico Rosberg, Damon Hill, Häkkinen, Michael Schumacher, Alonso, Vettel, Hamilton to the present day, without forgetting other very strong protagonists.

During the race, without creating mistakes or accidents, Red Bull’s potential came out with another double: Max Verstappen – Sergio Perez. Aerodynamics, chassis, engine, electronics have always been developed and implemented at their best by the Austrian Scuderia since the first GP of the year.

However, Ferrari played its cards well in one of the best GPs of the year. Defender Carlos Sainz tried to keep the position fairly, only to be overtaken by the Red Bull duo, closed third.

On the straight, I’ll call the Spaniard’s maneuver the Carlos one, because it will be useful in the future at Monza for other riders. Fourth was the other Ferrarista Charles Leclerc who, for the podium, was almost trying to give away an Italian omelette, eliminating the Cavallino Rampante’s Team from the competition in one fell swoop. Luckily the impetus did not go beyond the limit.

The temple of speed in Monza gave true emotions and passions, momentarily returning the presence in F1 after three seasons.

There are still several gps to go. The Constructors’ Championship is partially open. Perhaps, the riders will be free with the title awarded today. For sure, there will be new topics for the maximum expression of technology and speed on four wheels.
