Two installations at Tate Liverpool. Let’s see in summary what it is about.
“Future Forecast”, an installation by The Greenhouse Project Young Events Producers. Eighteen months of collaborations and opportunities for young people within creative art. A playful but also professional offer to enrich the girls and boys of the local area, in this case from the Lodge Lane L8 neighbourhood. The project touches on the theme of climate change, projecting into a next future with changes in the world landscape and in Toxteth. The group’s voices recite a script created during workshops with LJMU artist and faculty member Roy Claire Potter. An audiovisual installation which, after the Late event in September at Tate Liverpool, is running from 15 January 2024 at the RIBA North gallery.
RESOLVE Collective are linked and connected to the city of Liverpool within their installation “You Get a Car [Everybody Gets a Car]: RESOLVE Collective”. Since 9 February 2024 they have been on display at the RIBA North gallery. An extensive project that creates interventions, physical and systemic, useful for promoting political and socio-economic change. The group between technology, engineering, art and technology delves into and creates on the theme of equitable change.
