Yende and Chou in Dior

by Alain Chivilò

For fashion houses, having an official brand representative is part of their marketing and communication policies. Annually and in the different collections proposed, a female and male personality provide greater attractiveness to the brand. Maison Dior is part of this vision and seeks out and proposes new very important characters to be linked to the Brand.

Christian Dior SE introduces the soprano Pretty Yende and the singer, songwriter Jay Chou.

South African soprano Pretty Yende represents the heritage of the House thinking to the Mozart, Verdi and Debussy looks designed by the founder for the spring-summer 1950 line. Moreover, Yende’s strength, presence and character are linked internationally with the collections conceived by creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri in Dior.

Taiwanese musician, singer-songwriter, music and film producer, actor and director Jay Chou represents the multifaceted spirit of the men’s collections designed by creative director Kim Jones. In life one’s person and professionalism can be engaged in different sectors without being reduced to one just to please. Maison Dior is in synergy with this in creativity and audacity.
